Is Chiropractic Safe?

What is an adjustment?

A chiropractic adjustment is the art of applying a specific force in a precise direction to a joint that is subluxated, “locked up”, or not moving properly.  This natural and safe procedure improves spinal mobility, function, and overall health.

Do adjustments hurt?

Most patients report relief after an adjustment. Depending on what is causing your original discomfort, you may feel some muscle soreness following treatment.  This usually goes away within 24 hours.

Do we treat infants and children?

We will examine and treat children older than 5 years of age who can competently state their complaint. We refer infants and children 5 and under to another clinic with specialty training and equipment for treating infants and younger children.

Is chiropractic treatment safe during pregnancy?

Absolutely! Chiropractic care can be modified for pregnant women, if necessary.  Many women find chiropractic care offers great relief for pain associated with the changing dynamics of their bodies during pregnancy.

Do we accept health insurance?
